An Unknown Time in The Path of Many Forks, 5148
Village of Fairies in the Feywild
"Are you guys... Sure you wanna to do this?" Rill was biting his lip as he stirred the soup, eyeing the bowls nervously.
After the anti-magic storm had passed outside - which had made Tehodis a little ill, due to her need for magical energy - the trio had gone back out into the world to explore some more. Rill had taken them to Dyalind, and through what he called the 'Forest of Flavours' where most edible things were grown. It had taken all of Tehodis' willpower - but more of Rill and Endless' - to ensure she didn't eat things on sight, as it all looked delicious. By the end of the trip, Endless was feeling it as well. It had been a while since he had eaten - and they both knew that he would need to eat something soon, whether it was here, or back in Fortuna. Rill had insisted he help them find a fairy circle, but Tehodis and Endless had insisted otherwise.
They were going to stay.
"Yes, absolutely," Tehodis nodded, sitting cross-legged on Rill's bed in an outfit made by a fashion-talent fairy. The fairy had given it to Tehodis, along with the offering of a delicious looking golden apple, and Rill had allowed only the dress. After all, the one she had arrived it was not fitted to her, and was certainly not fitted to flying. Now, she wore something skin-tight like Rill - but with layers of blue - seemingly moving - patterned fabrics on top to offer her some modesty. The outfit was warm, cozy, and fit Tehodis like a glove. "I would have also eaten the candy apples in Dyalind, and the apple from the fashion fairy, and the pie from the forest of flavours. Rill... I'm certain this is what I want."
Rill still didn't seem convinced. He pretended the soup wasn't ready, and put the stem back on the pumpkin. "You can't change your mind once you do this. Not only will a fairy circle not send you back, or the tornados, but Haelrin would make sure you didn't find some other way - even if there was one. You'll be bound to this place. And it's not all sight-seeing and fun and games and--"
Tehodis cut him off, moving to grab Endless' hand in an act of solidarity - "Yes, you've told us. We'll be expected to contribute, to work here in the Feywild. Just as we would need to do back home. There's no difference, aside from... Well, here there aren't monsters chasing me. Here we... We have something to live for."
Rill sighed and rubbed his temples a little, knowing Tehodis wouldn't be shaken. "What about you, Endy? Any chance I can convince ya otherwise?"
